SquadLocker’s Account Executives are responsible for acquiring and retaining new and existing customers, closing deals and driving profitability for the organization. In this role, you will be tasked with quickly and effectively following up on leads from direct marketing & partner channels, developing pipelines through prospecting into targeted high-value accounts and closing significant expansion opportunities within existing customers. Utilizing strategic sales approaches, AEs will also focus on landing enterprise deals for multi-team and multi-sport organizations.

In this fast-paced position, AEs must work throughout the week to speak with customers as customer schedules permit. To meet this expectation, AEs must be available to book and attend appointments between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. AEs are trusted to complete additional administrative tasks and prospecting around/in between these scheduled hours. Additionally, AEs are expected to work at our dog-friendly, beer-on-tap office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as on days in which core meetings are scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively convert leads into revenue and handle entire sales process from appointment to close for high value target accounts. Consistently reach or exceed sales quotas and sales targets.
  • Develop and implement solutions to customer requirements for enterprise accounts.
  • Drive sales through SquadLocker sales techniques combining phone, chat, email, and social selling; Utilize overarching selling strategies and best practices for all assigned customers.
  • Review new and existing prequalified leads; Utilize data to generate best proposal for the lead.
  • Serve as “project manager” for customers in development, working as intermediary between customer and other internal teams (sales support, sublimation team, design services, etc.)
  • Address all internal and external correspondence in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency.
  • Attend all scheduled customer/lead appointments.
  • Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status using CRM, PandaDoc and additional internal resources; Maintain data hygiene and disposition accounts appropriately
  • Develop a pipeline by prospecting for high-value target customers.
  • Build credibility in meetings with clear, compelling, and effective communication skills.
  • Provide feedback and input to the product teams, marketing, and leadership via office hours.
  • Continuously improve – learn from & collaborate with your manager, peers, and colleagues.
  • Utilize only company provided software for all communications with leads, admins and customers (Outlook, NetSuite and AirCall)
  • Work assigned leads/prospects/customers and opportunities in accordance with company determined SLA.
  • Follow all company procedures in regards to data hygiene and customer management.
  • Attain proficiency in company utilized software:
  • AirCall, NetSuite, PandaDoc, Outlook, Excel, Homefield, JIRA

Qualifications

We are looking for ambitious individuals with a history of high achievement and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment with peers who challenge them to be better. These are the qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in related sales environment
  • CRM experience required
  • Ability to leverage systems and process to accelerate sales, with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in sporting goods and/or apparel industry a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of successful inside sales experience closing deals
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment

Commission Structure

1. 15.6% of contribution margin will be paid during the first 15 months of new account acquisition, starting from the first order date of the account

2. AEs must actively “work” the account to receive commission (IE routing tasks appropriately, mediating communication between internal resources, etc.)

3. Commissions will be paid on or before the second pay date of each month

4. No order can be sold to customers with less than a 25% contribution margin without management approval
